UPDATE - September 5, 2022

It's been over 5 years since I set this site up and I've not touched it since.  On March 5th of this year, my father Buzz Page passed away and I've been feeling a bit sentimental about Model A's ever since.  I do not currently own an antique car but have been thinking about acquiring one to satisfy my yearning to enjoy a Model A like my Grandfather and Father always did.

For today, my goal was to gain access to the log in to this site and to make a short post.  Mission accomplished!

Best Regards,

Hello,

My name's Bill Page and my Grandfather was Norman Frederic Page.  Also known as "NF" or "Fred" Grampy Page was the man behind Page's Model A Garage in Haverhill, NH.  The business was actually started by my father Ridler "Buzz" Page and my Uncle John Page who as young boys loved cars, especially Fords.  Buzz & John filled the yard with cars until their mother, my Grandmother got fed up with it all and made them move the cars off-site.

After retiring from a succesful career at American Express Company in NYC, Fred returned to Haverhill to operate the business full-time.  Yes...there is MUCH more to the story but this will have to serve as a starting point.

This website is something I've wanted to do for a long time but wouldn't you know it?  I've got a business of my own, a family, and all the associated obligations that go with them!  I was tasked by my Uncle (John Page - Deceased) and Father (Buzz Page) with keeping an eye on the family archives and I want to share the interesting stuff regarding the Model A business with you.  The task is needless-to-say...very overwhelming...and I don't have time for it...but I'll use it to satisfy my need for historical recreation, or a tendency to do what's fun, not important, as time permits.  (Tonight I went through a couple boxes of 1000's of pictures and cannot fathom how I will ever find time to look at, scan, and post all of these tiny old pictures.  They are so cool and interesting to me and I'm sure others but how do I do it quickly and easily?)

"Mister Model A" as many called him was a special man to me.  He was an educated hick from the hills of New Hampshire with the ability to be a city fella at a moments notice.  If you were to meet one or the other, you probably wouldn't know they were related.

He was a Yankee entrepreneur, a trader, dickerer, farmer, woodsmen, car collector, automotive literature dealer, stamp collector, real estate broker, and book collector...especially rare editions of Don Quixote.  I'm told he even opened a sandwich shop in or near the American Express building on Broadway in NYC at one point.  He was into everything!

He seemed to do it all and as his Grandson, I loved him to death, and miss him dearly.

Thanks for looking!
